"The teaching planned by the Hierarchy to precede and condition the New Age, the Aquarian Age, falls into three categories: 1. Preparatory, given 1875-1890, written down by H.Blavatsky. 2. Intermediate, given 1919-1949, written down by Alice A. Bailey. 3. Revelatory, emerging after 1975 to be given on a worldwide scale via the radio. Bailey "Rays and The Initiations", page 255] During these years of preparation for the externalisation of the ashrams and the reappearance of the Christ the Master Djwhal Khul (head of one of the subsidiary ashrams within the major second ray Ashram of the Master Koot Hoomi) accepted responsibility for presenting a sequence of three interpretations of the Ageless Wisdom teaching intended "to precede and condition the New Age". He has also undertaken the task of training for discipleship a large group of aspirants associated with the various ray ashrams.
